Salub wrote:I seen the mirror in a BMW brochure and asked my local dealer if they had them for the R1200R he said yes. I asked him if they are the same chrome mirror that where on the R1200C and the only thing he could tell me about the mirror is that they are for the R1200R. They thread directly in and I paid $300 AUS for them which included freight.
Part Number BC-71607699091.
So it is.. lemme see what Chicago BMW gets for them..

(note - there are US and Euro versions. I suspect the Euro has curved glass in them.. but dunno for sure..)

Hmmm.. http://www.chicagobmwmotorcycle.com/sto ... 25b9384b6b - "Rear Mirror S" - retail is $80.50, their price is $64.40 USD. So $130/pair? Wonder if the adaptors shown in REALOEM are needed?

Also - are they any better in regards to vibration?

Ah ha... Hammersley lists "Rear View Mirror Oval, Chrome" http://www.webparts.com/diagram.php?btn ... g=51&fg=10 for $90.63..

Deepens the mystery a bit..

I will be replacing my mirrors next week with K mirrors.

Ziobato , You have got it going on. I love the carbon spacers for the BMW roundel on your gas tank. Where can I get some? I am very impressed with everything you have done to your bike. =D>

Hi, Mark and thank you very much for what you say about my RR...

The spacer is not a commercial part: I designed it, then handcrafter make it for me. ;)
Since looks to be generally well accepted, it may be became a business...
