Your cooler screens look good. I don't think you'll have any problems, as I see that BMW of Santa Cruz sells screens that look to have about the same mesh size. I think their price is $109.00 a pair so I,d say you did good. How did you attach them to the coolers?

Exhaust coatings?

Hi all, I,m looking for some info as to how well the Ceramic exhaust coatings hold up on the header pipes of our Roadsters. I've found a shop that applies the coatings close to my home. Wanted to know if the black satin finish stays nice looking after a few k miles of heating and cooling. I think it...

I believe DJ is correct. Just had the same thing happen to me, used lower grade gas and noticed the under hard acceleration started pinging. Next 2 times I fueled up used 92 oct. and some redlining and no more pinging. I also notice that when I've been riding with my misses on board(ride a little mo...

I also use speed shine from Griots. It's really good on all painted surfaces, along with alot of the other products they sell. Really nice for me is the fact they are right across from the BMW cycle dealer in Fife. You can get a catalog from them from their web site.

I like the looks of the new mirrors on your bike, but was wondering if you think the stock mirrors could be mod. to fit a r1150r.I looked the k1200r mirrors at the dealer and think they would look good on my roadster but can't figure out what it would take to adapt them. Any thoughts on this would b...

I too use the Marsee teardrop magnetic tankbag. I find the magnets really hold it in one place, plus to add fuel, i just tilt it up. Just make sure to keep the fabric between the mags and the tank free of any dirt and you won't have any scratches.

I went ahead and ordered the bushings for the cruiser mirrors(the oval chrome ones)from the dealer and when they come in I'll have them pull a K1200R mirrors and see if they fit the adapters. The dealer said he didn't know if they would fit, but for the couple of buck the bushing cost ,I though I'd ...
