Re: SS Brake line

The hard messy part is bleeding the system. Do some internet research on motorcycle brake bleeding before you start. If your bike has ...

Re: Tinted helmet visor, legal?

BMW did not sell System 5 helmets in the US. We have too many lawyers. Tinted visors are legal in the US. Check Wolf BMW in Ontario Canada. My dad and I rode there so he could get a couple of new visors. Thanks to all the answers. Biff's , that explains why I haven't found the the visors in the US ...

Are legal tinted helmet visors in the US? If so, anyone could advice me where can I get a tinted visor for my System V BMW helmet?

Re: Aluminium head guard protectors on R1150R

#-o yep, you're right. Not sure if they make it for the 1150, but they should. I saw the tourtech one, it's a bit "rough", not as elegant as the bmw one... I'll keep looking.

Re: Pictures Installation of Hella auxiliary lights

Good pictorial of your installation, and a very nice looking result =D> =D> . Thanks :) Those PIAA's throw a lot of light for much better visibility at night, and you will be seen by others better also. Hella's .. , correct, it gives a definetely better visibility. Pictures Installation of Hella auxiliary lights

Hello everyone, here are the pictures of the installation fo Hella FF50 Lights on the 2004 R1150R. We decided to place the lights under the oil coolers (thanks nonskid). At first I was reluctant to make holes on a OEM part, but at the end, in my opinion, under the coolers it maintains the roadster l...

Re: Installing Aux. Lights

Hello there nonskid. I just got a pair and was thinking about the best place to put them. I'll probably go with the installation under the oil coolers just like you did, but I'm somehow afraid of oppening holes in the stock parts :-), by the way, the bottom part of the oil coolers is not flat, how d...

Hello cruiser, These are the Hepco-Becker, right? The 1200C ones won't fit on the R1150R, but they make ones for your model. Check this old post for info and pictures (http://www.r1150r.org/board/viewtopic.php?p=34765&sid=ee1fc606a29ed62aaf996142fc125422) In my opinion, the highway pegs or the e...
