i have added ebc hh pads and they stop great.
I'm using them too, and wonder if the brake fluid that leaked on them can be cleaned off with isopropyl alcohol?

Re: What caused the engine to seize?

Thanx for the update. I remember back when the thread was active thinking that this motor needed the oil out and to be rotated at the crank. Glad things worked out so well, congrats. RR

Thanx for the help w/ the test. I too suspected a broken cable, but just wanted to hear from more experience. I'll test it first thing when back to town. Apologies for the slow get back. BB

Re: Brake Light Micro Switch Problem

The same thing happened to me. 2000 r11r w/ 35,000mi.. I did pretty much as you did, a little brake cleaner, wd40, and I tweeked the switch blade a bit. It's been a year and a half since the fix, no problems. I never checked on a new one. Ron

Re: valve clicking or engine knocking too loud?

Well, w/o referencing specific noises, I've had the same thing happen when going from a full face helmet to an open helmet. I heard many sounds that I hadn't heard before. I went back to the full face helmet. Ron
p.s. I know, no help

Re: problem externalizing fuel filter

Okay, I failed at putting up a diagram from the manual. Let me see if I can say this a little differently w/o referencing the connectors. With the IN on the tank and the IN on the filter facing each other, you are asking the fuel to go two different directions. Fuel flow direction thru the filter ca...

Re: problem externalizing fuel filter

You have the IN to the tank and the IN to the fuel filter facing each other. That's not the way it should work. Also you have the fuel filter on the IN or return to the tank to the tank. You're cleaning the excess fuel to the back to the tank Ron
