How do you pack them? Do you take them off the bike? Did you buy the high priced offical BMW liners for them? Did you find an aftermarket product that works well?

I looked into getting an airhawk about a year ago. I found most people thought they were a worthwhile investment. I, however, couldn't bear to part with that much cash so I picked up a sheep skin seat cover. I haven't looked back. I don't know why an inch or so of dead sheep works but it does.

My bike is an '05 and I bought her new last year. She only has 7000 miles on her.

Out of all the potential problems, I suppose a battery isn't the worst. However, I would be severely disappointed that I couldn't even get one full year out of it!
