If I understand you correctly, this is your issue: You're riding at X kph/mph at X rpm and you need to take a sharp turn onto another street. You know that 2nd would be the perfect gear for that turn. The engine would slow you down enough, but not too much, and allow you to roll on smoothly through ...

I have the alarm and I'm pleased with my decision. I bought it because I didn't want to be hundreds of miles away from home and have my bike stolen. Is the alarm going to stop someone from taking it who is determined? No, but it has come in handy. One time I was eating and I heard the alram go off. ...

Battery Tender and Flashing Lights
Have you ever come home from a ride and plugged in your battery tender? I did last night and was surprised when it took 20 minutes for the flashing green light to come on. What was even more surprising (at least to me) was that 4 hours later the green light hadn't changed from falshing to steady. Do...

I love watching peoples reaction to my husband when he waves. He rides a Road King. When he's wearing his leather and beanie helmet the other members of his clan are demonstratively happy to see him. However, if he's wearing a full face helmet and his bright blue Polaris jacket (waterproof and warm)...

System Case Liners
Added system cases to my bike during the winter (along with auxillary brake light and touring handle bars). I love them!
How do you pack them? Do you take them off the bike? Did you buy the high priced offical BMW liners for them? Did you find an aftermarket product that works well?
Thanks

Web Bike World has information of various helmets (weight, noise etc...). I have found them to be fairly accurate.

Help - She Won't Start!!!
At the tail end of last season, my bike was hard to start. She'd cough and sputter, spew a little "smoke" but she would eventually run. I was told by the dealership that the symptoms were normal since temps were in the 40's and below. That dealership went out of business and the new dealer...

Held "Steve" Gloves - Do they stretch
I need to pick up a pair of gloves this weekend. Do any of you Held gloves owners remember how much (if any) your gloves stretched from wearing?

I'm in the market for a reasonably priced bike to bike, voice activation system. Does anyone have experience with this one http://www.collett.mb.ca/ by Collett?

Wunderlich Comfort Bars and Other Additions
I'm storing my bike at the dealership this winter since I don't have a garage. As long as it's there I was thinking about having them mount the Wunderlich Comfort/Touring bars. I already have mototechniques bar risers but I'm still having some wrist/elbow pain after riding 4+ hours. What about suppl...

I don't have a garage so I bought a Cycle Shell http://www.cycleshell.com to protect my bike when not in use. It's very well made. When I'm done riding, I drive my bike onto the rigid platform and close the shell. Nothing touches bike and no one can tell what's inside.

Starting Issue
Normally, I can start my bike and go. Lately though I've been having issues :( It starts relatively fine but it will stall seconds after it turns over. The only way I can get it to run is to crack the throttle (the fast idle switch isn't enough) and run it at 4000rpm for at least a minute or two whi...

I had the same problem and ordered a medium butt pad. I had the opportunity to test it out this past weekend on a 700 mile journey. I can't believe the difference it made. The first day I spent 14+ hours in the saddle. I didn't start getting uncomfortable until 11 or so hours into the trip. As far a...
