One of mine broke, so I ordered these metal quick disconnects from beemer bone yard. Here they are, after installation.

Personally - I'd name and shame the shop - that's a real piece of NON-attention to detail that I'd be very pissed off about if it happened to me. . Re: the quick disconnect, I had to insert a brass pipe, temporarily. Could this cause the idle to go up?
