2000 R1100R rear turn signal replacement?

Post by sprshrp »

Hey there guys, new member here, was hoping someone might be able to help me out.

I recently lost my rear-left turn signal (the entire housing is gone, but the wiring is still there... hanging...), and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on where to get a replacement? I checked Bob's BMW and A&S cycles, but was unable to find parts for my 2000 r1100r. I'm open to OEM or aftermarket, just want to get something installed!

Thanks for your help!

You will probably need to get the whole kit and caboodle....not cheap!
Just had to replace parts of my front turn signal. Fortunately, I found the most expensive part on the ground!

So, check out the parts you will need at this link:

As you will see, they aren't cheap!

I had a crash that destroyed two of the turn signals and to replace the stock signals cost a bloody fortune (just the lens and housing for one directional is about fifty dollars not including the stem). I replaced all four with Baja Design turn signals. These look very close to stock but are a bit smaller however when mounted on my r1100r is un-noticeable. They are dot approved and very bright when activated

Update on the Baja Turn signals. It turns out with the saddle bag rack the rears are about an inch too short the fronts look and work well. I was lucky and found a complete rear fender with stop light and directional’s. Stupid me I did not take in account the length of the studs I went on the overall length of the directional oopps
