You knew it was coming.
Yeah, yeah! The one word was Underarmour but I kept typing past my train of thought! Happens a lot lately!

They show several BMW applications on their web site and have many endorsements from BMW riders.
So howcome we've never heard of them?

The 3 "B's"

Bike (shorts, like bicyclists wear)
Beads (as in http://www.beadrider.com)
Bond (as in Gold Bond powder for chafing, which you can avoid by utilizing the first two "B's")

But that Kontour does look nice and I like the "science" behind it (no pun intended....NOT).

Some people recommend bicycle pants instead of underpants.
The long leg bit does not ride up like undies.
I may have to try some.
Oops, I should have read the 2nd page .

perhaps...

I was thinking maybe if your ass is big enough then your sit bones miss seat altogether and you end up straddling the seat with all meat, no? Just gain weight and use natural padding.

after a few long weekends I learned the lesson of what to way under the pants, workout shorts. Specifically, Danskins. Love them and the t-shirts are great for air flow.

Maybe in your dreams! On any given day there will be twice as many people on Harley Davidson motorcycles touring this country.
And BMW designs motorcycles that, in virtually every other way, are focused on performance and comfort on very long rides. It just seems like they didn't put much thought into making the seats. Kinda inconsistant with the meticulous design of the rest of the bike
Yeah, how about that German designed performance and comfort--too bad BMWNA can't stop the dealer base from shrinking. How many states don't even have ONE BMW motorcycle dealership?
Maybe it would simply be too expensive to produce a higher quality seat? *shrug*
Apparently Harley Davidson doesn't think so, as the Motor Company offers several types of comfort seats for their line. On the other hand, BMW offers a low seat which is just as bad as the stock saddle. Totally unacceptable, when considering what we pay for a BMW.

Let the flames begin.....

Are you saying that HD riders out more miles on their bikes than BMW riders? c'mon. Most HD guys I know make a habit of trailering their bikes if they are looking at more than one day in the saddle. They won't even ride in the rain.

Yep. There's lot's of high mileage HD baggers in my neck of woods. Saw a great many of Harley's during my midwest trip, too.

Uh, the way cagers drive in New Jersey, your HD friends might feel safer by trailering their bike, ya' know. You should come out west where people like to ride year 'round.
