The 3 "B's"
Bike (shorts, like bicyclists wear)
Beads (as in http://www.beadrider.com)
Bond (as in Gold Bond powder for chafing, which you can avoid by utilizing the first two "B's")
But that Kontour does look nice and I like the "science" behind it (no pun intended....NOT).

perhaps...
I was thinking maybe if your ass is big enough then your sit bones miss seat altogether and you end up straddling the seat with all meat, no? Just gain weight and use natural padding.

after a few long weekends I learned the lesson of what to way under the pants, workout shorts. Specifically, Danskins. Love them and the t-shirts are great for air flow.munchmeister wrote:The 3 "B's"

Maybe in your dreams! On any given day there will be twice as many people on Harley Davidson motorcycles touring this country.Harry wrote:Lets just be honest here; *as a group*, we BMW riders are probably the most hardcore on the road when it comes to actual riding (Hey, sometimes you've got to acknowledge a truth)
Yeah, how about that German designed performance and comfort--too bad BMWNA can't stop the dealer base from shrinking. How many states don't even have ONE BMW motorcycle dealership? And BMW designs motorcycles that, in virtually every other way, are focused on performance and comfort on very long rides. It just seems like they didn't put much thought into making the seats. Kinda inconsistant with the meticulous design of the rest of the bike
Apparently Harley Davidson doesn't think so, as the Motor Company offers several types of comfort seats for their line. On the other hand, BMW offers a low seat which is just as bad as the stock saddle. Totally unacceptable, when considering what we pay for a BMW.Maybe it would simply be too expensive to produce a higher quality seat? *shrug*
Let the flames begin.....
I'm outta' here!
Are you saying that HD riders out more miles on their bikes than BMW riders? c'mon. Most HD guys I know make a habit of trailering their bikes if they are looking at more than one day in the saddle. They won't even ride in the rain.ebiker wrote:Maybe in your dreams! Freedom is dangerous. Those in power that steal freedom are more dangerous.
Uh, the way cagers drive in New Jersey, your HD friends might feel safer by trailering their bike, ya' know. You should come out west where people like to ride year 'round.sjbmw wrote:ebiker wrote:Maybe in your dreams!
