How to remount front shock
I am looking for a clever suggestion for remounting my newly rebuilt front shock on my R1150R. I am alone and have no access to help at the moment. Has anyone managed to install the lower bolt by themselves? There must be a way that doesn't require four hands . . .

Re: How to remount front shock
Thanks for the reply, Kirby, but I am thinking I wasn't clear in my question. I want to put the shock back on - not take it off. I am trying to figure out how to lift the front wheel/forks/telelever assembly in order to install the top and bottom bolts. Any suggestions for that procedure?kirby wrote:Take the tank bolt (right side) ands slide the tank back (3or so inches) for access to the top remove nut , Support the front(under the engine) with a jack and lift till it unloads the shock bolts, very easy. Leave the front wheel attached and you can control the length with the jack.
