I managed less than an inch clearance. No problem so far.
I have the headers and can.
Love the sound and performance and will probably not change back; but the volume is on the loud side...

" have tried loosening all the mounting points for the exhaust and adjusting slightly "

That is exactly what I did and it worked.

I ask my self the same thing. When the R1150 R drive shaft unglued itself I was on the road not the track. It had seen my first few track days i admit, it had 22000 miles on it. I do decelerate with the engine... The 1200 had 5000 miles on it. I do NOT want this to happen to me again. I must be doin...

I had the sport screen that came with my bike.
It was too noisy and buffeted my helmet.
Trimmed a couple inches of it and that did not help.
Please do post a review, I think it comes back enough to
deflect some air with out sending it mid helmet.

Ohlins are out!!

Yup, finally.

Front
Part no: BM 708
Type: S46PR1C1LS

Rear
Part no: BM 709
Type: S36DR1L

The decay on the ESA shocks has been good for me. The springs have
softened enough for me to actually enjoy the ESA setings.
I know the ohlins are better, ESA is convenient and fun.

It may not be prettty, I lusted for an R1200S for months. Ducati S4rs, R1200ST; Even considered a street glide for G*ds sake!! BUT When my 1150 R broke down; it took me the time to fill a check to get the new R. I had not even considered the new R. I did not even considered the price, weird. I sure ...

ESA not working!!

Today I tried making the R a little sportier and adjust the setting from soft to normal, NOTHING is showing, not the one helmet not the normal, soft or sport options. Usually with the tire monitor; when it goes nuts I turn the bike off and it all resets and works fine. Not so with the ESA. Any trick...

I just intalled this: http://clearalternatives.com/Merchant2/ ... L-0087.jpg

here is a quote from bmwmotos:
"My old R1150R with ohlins compared to my new R1200R with
Remus can and headers is like a VW Passat 1600 Diesel with the familly
and luggage on board compared to a Golf GTi turbo with one person"
I thought that was funny, I also think it is pretty accurate.....
