Similar problem for me but seemed to manage ok however I did sell the Rockster a 4 weeks ago for and bought a Harley 1200 Sportster !! No problems with that lol

Its a 2003 XL 1200C CUSTOM Sportser. Clocked my first 100 miles today and loved it !!

Ditched the sissy bar and crash bars and plan to put drag bars on !!

Glad you chose the Rockster. I have a an 04 model - 13k on the clock. No problems with the breaks. Don't worry about it, you may never have any problems.

Welcome aboard and theTiger Stripes are by far the best and don't let anyone tell you different. May I suggest you loose the can and put a car tip on. A much better sound. Hi, I have a screen on mine which is an after market bought in the UK from a catalogue. http://www.mandp.co.uk/ This works fine for me and easy to remove if not touring. Worth checking the drive shaft for leaks front and back. Mine leaked and it turned out a costly fix.

I use a this as luggage. BMW paniers and a Givi top box . seems to work fine.

I saw a green Rockster parked up in Lloyd's Ave in the City and also a bronze Rockster going past the Tower of London the other day. Do they belong to anyone here. Just curious

Does anyone get much much vibration going through the throttle. I often get a numb thumb and can be uncomfortable. There seems to be to much horizantle movement in the twist. Getting the bike services bext week so will mention it to BMW.

Your comments would be appreciated tho.

When I bought my Rockster I only had one key. I went to a local shop who cut keys and had two made for £10 (20 of those dollar things) Don't bother with a dealer !!

I have started getting a ticking noise coming from the engine, it sounds like the tapets need adjusting. Has anyone come across this themselves ?
