Removing front fork

Hi!

I have oil leak in right front fork leg. I am going to dismantle the fork myself and deliver it to the dealer so the bike will be ready for a new season, when the snow is gone. Have anyone done this earlyer. Do i need some special tools to get it loos from the top mounting?

Re:

Here's the answer to the GS hand guard quandary. Looks better than the large head bolts and the fender washers IMHO. They look RIGHT and bolt right in - no worries. http://home.comcast.net/~mogu83/DSC02041.JPG http://home.comcast.net/~mogu83/DSC02043.JPG The bolts are stainless and you can order th...

Hi!

It still rattles in my gas tank! It is worse when low on gas. Think it might be the gaslevel sensor.

Still no one having heard this on their bikes?

I`m only 34 years old so maby the problem will solve it self when i get older and my hearing gets redused?

Hi! I expected some oil use like my R1100S did. Had the first service at 1000km and could see a air bubble just in topp of the sight glass when cold. A little overfill from the dealer but did not do anything about it because i thought the level would fix it self. Now after riding 2200km the bubble i...

Yes i can move the tank a little from side to side when parked. Cant find any bolts at all, only the plastic side panels holding the tank i think.

I did also see the oil cooler as a problem at first, but look at all the japs and ducatis, most of them have the oil and water cooler just behind the weel. If they last, my RR will also!!

HI Kiwi60!

In the last magasine called Bike (you have the same magasin in Sweeden) your lock was the winner in an test of about ten disc locks. They used almost 60 sec to get it opened.
