Re: R1100R Luggage Options

Hi John,

For luggage systems, have you checked Hepco & Becker yet?

Well actually this does make sense for induction operated traffic light sensors. Some of them hardly detect my R11R. Riding without center stand will not improve this. :D

Cheers!

What about the traffic light sensors? Won't they be triggered even less after removing the iron stand?

Hi Michael,

Why not extend your current screen with a spoiler like Touratech offers?

Re: Schwarzkopf - or black head

Heres a question: did the early 1100's ever come out with black coloured rocker covers/heads? I'm looking at one and when I asked the owner he said it came that way. You mean like this 2000 model has?: http://images.kapaza.com/photoslarge/16700000/16774473.jpg This fellow did a good job restyling h...

Re: Mounting a GPS device like Garmin Zumo to a R1100R

Hi Oliver and Sweatmark, I have to admit you were right about the RAM mount. There is enough space beneath the button module to fit the RAM mount! For the time being I will order this mount and the extra bolt. The Zumo came with all the other parts I need to fit on the RAM ball. Thank you guys! Sven

Re: Mounting a GPS device like Garmin Zumo to a R1100R

Hi guys, Thank you all very much for your response! As we have seen we have two types of R1100R's, the original one and the newer one with the redesigned dingle. For the original one the RAM mount seems to be a good option, but this option is not possible for my newer R1100R. The best "out of t...

Mounting a GPS device like Garmin Zumo to a R1100R

Hi Guys, Finally I want to mount my GPS device on my R1100R, but this is not as easy as I thought since there is no normal steering bar available. I was wondering if someone could share his experience and maybe post a picture as well! http://u221.direct.atpic.com/24084/okistefocoimjfoqxemp/1274627/6...
