Very interested in this topic as I have been thinking the same thing for a while. Some great ideas here. this has just spurred me into action. My bike goes in for its service next monday and I got a decent quote for a paint job. I am toying with the idea of mandarin, possibly with a white stripe abo...

Finally the weather gives in, and allows you that cherished opportnity to regain your freedom, adventure out once more! I to...

I've just fitted a Leo Vince can, and I am really pleased with it. The sound is great - not too loud, but just right. It was very straight forward to fit, and not that expensive to buy. On top of that, there is a decent weight saving over the old can.

Thanks ric. Very useful sites. That is the sort of thing I am looking for. I have seen a few other sites with similar products, but it is definitely worth shopping around. They have some good stuff on there. I have ordered a small Buell screen which I have an idea on how to fit to the original brack...

Thanks for your posts. Boxermania's RR looks great I think. I love the twin light look. Ric - the Buell lights do look good - I will look into it. Has anyone any opinions on the Pyramid Plastics Mantis nose fairing. I think it looks good, but havent seen it on an RR, might be worth a go!

Replacing headlight with twin lights

I am looking at trying to replace the single headlight with 2 bug type headlights, similar to those on a speed triple. Has anyone done this, or seen/know of anyone who has, and if so, what do they think? Does it work, and how does it look? Thanks.

Nice looking bike. I think the black looks great. I also was tempted by the grey, but in the end think black is better looking. It is all a matter of personal preference, I dont think you can go wrong either way to be honest.
Congrats.

Lets be seeing 'em!

I have seen this done on some other forums a propose to do something similar here. I would ask owners to post their various pictures of their pride and joy here, to inspire eachother and share the general wealth. Mine on order, and I promise to post as soon as it turns up! So who is gonna go first a...

Thanks for all the replies. I have made the decision, and should have one within a few weeks! Cant wait.
Have to agree that best advice to anyone is do not try one unless you are going to buy it, because you will definitely want one straight after.
Guess I may have to change my user name!

Just tried 1200R!!!

After months of wanting a 1200GS, last week I saw the 1200R in the showroom. Already owning an 1150R and loving it, it naturally caught my attention. When comparing the two, I couldnt help feeling a bit passionless about the GS, whereas the R has that something extra (to me anyway). It recaptures th...
