Lets be seeing 'em!

Post by Tom1150r »

I have seen this done on some other forums a propose to do something similar here.
I would ask owners to post their various pictures of their pride and joy here, to inspire eachother and share the general wealth.
Mine on order, and I promise to post as soon as it turns up!
So who is gonna go first and start us off then? :D

And then ended up buying the demo model with 1000km on the clock(so no brake in hassle) on less then 2 months old. Best thing is I got all the things from the lifestyle package(ABS,centre stand, clear turnsignals, boardcomputer, heated grips) without the imo not so nice looking on the R chrome exhaust. Also the sportwindscreen was fitted and original BMW alarm system and imobiliser. Also have bagmounts fitted now(part of the deal) for the bags I'm going to get next year when I'm going to use the bike for some trips abroad. I originally wanted to get the mat grey one(witch looks realy good) but the deal on the equaly cool looking black one was just to good to pass up.

Nice looking bike. I think the black looks great. I also was tempted by the grey, but in the end think black is better looking. It is all a matter of personal preference, I dont think you can go wrong either way to be honest.
Congrats.

Thanks Tom. I also think that black in general is a good colour for bikes. What did it for me was the picture with me on it that my dad took when I did the testdrive. In the press pictures I initialy disliked the black R because of the lack of contrast between the mat black parts on the front fender, rear and underneath the tank but when you look at the black bike in the flash the contrast is very good looking and pictures don't do it mutch justice.

They didn't have a black one on hand and I couldn't wait. I'm very happy with the choice I made.

That is a well posed bike shot!
I don't mind paying for mistakes. Can I get a discount?
