This ride I took back in the summer of '04 remains the best time of my life on two wheels, and possibly period. I know a lot of you have already read about it when I posted it here back then, but I've just recently re-vamped the text and added some photos to the ride story on my little blog.

As I was going over the photos from that ride, I came across the ones of Rick Croley. Some of you don't know of Rick, but he was a riding buddy of mine and Bill Haycock's. He passed away this past year and I was just thinking what a great riding pal Rick was during that long three week trip.
