It's here!
Had my first ride home in the snow this afternoon. Actually, it was snow mixed with rain, which is worse since you get a lot colder when your gloves and boots are soaking wet. I haven't ridden in the snow for quite a few years, and I really kind of enjoyed it. I guess I just get older, but not much wiser.

I'm with ya on that one Ruddy. I got caught the day before when the system first moved in with freezing rain. Ironically, I was sitting and sipping in one of our local Barnes and Nobles perusing through a Motorcycle Handling and Safety book. Got home just fine with extra concern for smooth/slow cornering. "No upshifting while turning!!!"
See you out there.

Well, as long as it's not freezing to the roads and you don't up-shift while turning (borrowed that tip from another thread
)...let it snow let it...yeah, you know how it goes
If there were any accumulation, I think the stock Michelin's would make me nervous. ABS would be handy for the noobie (me). I still grab my brakes thinking I'm on my old bike and whoa, they're soooo much better.
Glad you made it home safe ruddy
