Blue Indicator Light dimly lit?
Any ideas as to what would cause the blue indicator light to be lit dimly? The light does go to bright blue when I flick on the brights. Also noticed that it goes off when I turn the front wheel all the way to the left, suggesting loose wire or something.
Thanks,

What year is your bike?
Our bikes have a issue with over tight cable ties where the wires come out from under the tank.
I had a problem with my headlight going on and off when I turned the bars...it was a broken wire at the point of one of those too tight cable ties.
It was fixed under warranty...and told all is OK now...btw mines an 02.
A few years later (and warranty run out) I had a problem with my indicators and cancel button...again turning the bars made the problem come and go.
I recently cut open the loom in that same area and found the broken wire again at the point of one of those too tight cable ties.....bugger!
I fixed it myself and all is good...for now.
My guess it that your problem is the same sort of thing.

Mine was also very tight right under the instrument cluster and was rubbing against the instrument mounting hardware and against the mounting hardware for my 380mm BMW windscreen.
Solution, clip the tie, take a small piece of cable conduit and wrap it around the wiring where it's rubbing to protect it, then cable tie the conduit in place. I also put a bit of electrical tape on the bottom edge to keep out bugs, water, etc.

frozen north What is that a pic of???????????
As for the initial question...I had a wire harness so GOD DAMN tight my freakin bike stalled when I turned LEFT. almost killed myself.
loosen up the harness and get them to pay for a re-tape.
