No high beam-fixed

Post by milehighboater »

Passing along some knowledge....
Tried my high beam on some mountain roads last weekend with no prevail. The switch did nothing. I swung by and picked up a new H4 bulb and still no luck. I started to look at electrical and there’s it was, I missed one factory zip tie on the left side and found it had broke a ground for the high beam relay. An interesting note though is that the hazard light button on the left bar became illuminated at the same time as the repair. I guess I never noticed it stopped lighting up. Solder, shrinkwrap, and a new tie and she is good to go. At least now I have a spare bulb under the seat.
