Yellow CCP plug

Has anyone taken the yellow CCP plug off their bikes? I'm reading different reviews on this and was just wondering what kind of effects it has on the performance of the bike. Does it run richer and cause less surging or can it damage the cat converter?

i didn't notice much difference, slight difference in low throttle response... But i was dealing with another problem at the time.

Been thinking about trying it again just for funsies.

never heard of anything detrimental.... did read some "hearsay" about cat converters becoming "plugged" from rich mapping. but I if that happened, Id think it would take a LONG while.
