Wilbers Shocks

Post by AZBMWRIDER »

I've got a line on a set of Wilbers shocks from an '04 R1150RS, the set on my '02, need replacement rear is leaking from the shaft seal .

I've got part numbers from the seller, but can't find anything online to tell me they will work on my '02, the Wilbers site doesn't even list an application for the oilhead bikes .

630-009-03 front and 640-586-00 rear .

Anyone know if these are compatible .

I would call tedsbeemershop.com and ask them. They are very knowledgeable.

I bought Wilber's from the Beemershop and those are not the the part numbers I have in my records. Mine's an 02. I'd call them. I also found them super helpful and have been happy with the shocks.

Google is your friend. :D
Found them in a spreadsheet. It's in German and the www adress http://wilberssuspension.co.uk/images/w ... 202006.XLS

In short
Mark ABS Model Front/Rear Type Year Part-nr Euro's
BMW X R 1150 RT/ RS hinten R 22 01> 640-586-00 429,-
BMW R 1150 RS vorne 259 93> 630-009-03 429,-
You need these
BMW X R 1150 R vorne R 21 01> 630-369-00 429,-
BMW X R 1150 R hinten R 21 01> 640-369-00 429,-
Vorne = Front , Hinten = Rear

If the ones you found will fit? I can't tell you. :-k

I finally got the Wilbers application pages to properly load on my PC at home and the shocks for an RS are not compatible with the ones for an R .
