Bob, Go to twistedthrottle.com and review the options. If it isn't clear from the detail on the site, you should call them. Different kits are listed, but maybe you'll get lucky?

I am in U.K..I have checked to Mo-tech site the Rt one is listed slightly different from the R1200R I will check it out when my tankbag arrives.....

Are the easy to fit onto the tank, looking at mine there are 5 small bolts when you open the tank,I assume that you undo them and fit the tank connector with longer bolts?

Thanks Bob

RIght. The install is simple. Looking at the pics on Twisted Throttle, the 1200R kit includes a replacement for the existing tank fitting. You move the snap keyed lid over to the new tank fitting and then mount that to the bike. The Bag horse shoe then goes onto the new tank fitting. (This is from memory to don't quote me.) The listing for the 1200Rt does not include the replacement tank fitting, and the holes in the horse shoe look to be located differently. My guess is you will need to buy the correct kit for the 1200R

Does the bags connection tank bag actually touch any part of the petrol tank at all?

Certainly not on the small bags (had one on four years now). Doubt the large bags touch either - they have reasonably stiff bottoms and would have to sag significantly to touch. Soooo easy to take on/off.

But then, a glance behind in the mirror tells me mine has sagged about that amount ... uu > UU ... :P
