I had this crud guard made for me from a specialist in the UK.
Should help keep the front of the engine clean from the spray from the front wheel.
Good engineering quality.

Given that you already have a mud-guard extension - how much difference does it make? (the bike looks clean enough that you should be able to tell the difference!)
Who made it btw, and is it a stock item, or did you order a one-off? (who supplied the extensions and super-long bolts too?)

The bike is used in good weather only - not ridden in the depths of winter.
The mudguard extension works reasonably ok, but still throws up some crud in the rain.
The guard was made by this small manufacturer in the UK.

Nice!
Too bad for my bike that it already has just about 7 years of use without one...
I was dreaming when I wrote this, forgive me if it goes astray...

Nice work and installation. Just hope the lack of cooling air flow over that crossover pipe doesn't let something get too hot.

I'm going to make me one of those! I have to ride my bike across my yard and when it's wet, it always throws a bit of mud on the front of the engine.
