Product and part # identification help

Post by ginscoe »

I bought this on Ebay and plan to use it to raise my bars up an inch or so. It will work fine for that purpose. I was wondering if anyone can help me identify the part number and manufacturer.

Here is the picture:

Cut and paste the link into a new tab or window.

Thanks!

That's them... I picked them up on Ebay for $20 USD under the title "96 99 BMW R1100 RT TRIPLE TREE HANDLE BAR BRACKETS"

Now to find the bolts...

Thanks for the replies.

Hi Grant,

that should be a comparatively easy task. The bolts are 8.8 grade steel (not stainless!). Measure the length of the original bolts and add the thickness of the risers. Then go get'em at your local toolshop ... Or place your order via internet (I am sure you'll find plenty of sources ...).
