I saw one yesterday at Lone Star. A very handsome machine indeed. Although I am nowhere near done with my 2007 R1200R, it is awfully nice. I do think I will get that saddle, though, and maybe the mirrors.

The smoked matte grey is so tempting I ordered one way back in December, four months ago, with hopefully just over a month to go. I am struggling with the wait, more so since they are out of the factory and in the states now!

It could be your "end of days" / "count down to 12/21/2012" bike.
Just make sure it's well serviced before all the dealers are vaporized!

The R12R is just plain sexy in any color.

The matte grey is very nice. There was one on the floor at Blue Moon a day or two after I got my red one. If they had both been sitting there and I had a choice between the two I'm not sure which way I would have gone.

I forget which bike it was on but Triumph did a standard bike with dark grey paint and gold lettering on the tank. I thought that was very sharp.

Holy cow. Now Schuberth makes a C3 Carbon, which happens to match the matte grey. Protect the women and children!

There was a 2011 in matte grey at Blue Moon on Friday with identical options but for the tire pressure monitors.

The Schuberth C3 Carbon sounds great but it probably costs more than the bike.

Wow, I saw one at my dealer today, and it looked badass. If that bike had an additional option, I'd be very tempted.

I agree it does look bland in the showroom but the sunlight changes everything. The Matt grey matches the bikes disposition.
