Post by crewzzn88 »

Hello,

Anybody buy a R12 with the LOW option? (Low seat/frame) I'm 5'5" and would love to buy a R1200R.

In Canada the low suspension is a free dealer option but I would have had to wait until 2010 production...since there was one with everything else that I wanted and the low seat I went for it. at 5'2" I just pay closer attention to where I am stopping. The low centre of gravity of the boxer helps compared to the inline 4 that I rode previously...

It really depends on what you are comfortable with...I have not been able to touch flat foot on any bike I have ridden (with the exception of a small dirt bike) so it is what I have become used to...

Left foot on the ground and right foot on the brake has worked for me so far
