correction..my brake fluid light stays on while riding

i made a mistake on my last post..my brake fluid light stays on,not my rear brake light, while i'm riding..advice please i would like to thank those who answer my last post..by the way.i checked the brake fluid and it is full

Errr...brake fluid light? I don't believe mine had one of those.....do you mean ABS light?

The ABS general warning lamp can indicate low brake fluid level, but it's not measured in either master cylinder reservoir. The iABS unit has sensors located within the fluid reservoirs within the ABS servo pump module under the fuel tank... that's where you need to check.

The ABS light can also indicate the brake light bulb is busted. You should check that before throwing your major components away.

It--that light-- is a gross indicator of malfunction in the ABS system, and it means your ABS is NOT working. Be wary of your braking technique. It can also indicate wheel abs sensor failure.

It means you have to get a computer read at the dealer, but check your brake lights first, might just be a bulb.
