Left Cam Chain Tensioner

Post by Turk74 »

After many years of reading about the left cam chain tensioner upgrade I finally made the change to my '04 also. What a difference....I wish I would have upgraded it many years ago. I feel like it's a new bike. Some say if it's not broke don't fix it....well I just didn't realize it WAS "broke".

Thanks to everyone who posted information on this site (and ADVRider) about this fix!

If we make a list of all the little idiosyncrasies and fixes on our bikes, which I believe Mike Cam has done, I can't help but be amazed at the amount of Teutonic Technology that has gone into these bikes.....heck, we should all get 50% rebates as a result of discovering and fixing everything that the factory ill-designed or missed.

Let the flames begin.....
