Recall/update

Hello,

after some investigation (my bike is a second hand ) I manage to know that I should take the bike back to my dealer for the well known probs of the EWS and brake line replacement
BMW also told me that an "update" relevant to (I don't know exactly in english) "control of the beat" (controllo del battito) will be done.
Is anyone of you aware of this update ? What is relevant to?

Hi Luca

"The beat control" may be referring to the Knock Sensor upgrade. After having this done to my bike I have no ping when under hard throttle.

could you please xplain what dop you mean by ping on hard trotthle? Is maybe some tickling that you hear when "giving" full throttle?

yes it sounds like that, on hard throttle or under load.
Have them do the upgrades.

Luca, also ask about the steering damper recall. I think it was only about 60 bikes affected, but mine was one
