Stripped valve adjuster?

Hello everyone, new member here with an embarrassing question. I hope it's okay to post in the 1150R forum about my 1100R bike?

Has anyone ever over-torqued a valve adjuster nut/screw? If so, how difficult was the fix?

What do you mean "over torqued" is it actually stripped? If so, whatever part is stripped must be replaced, be it the rocker threads, adjuster threads or the lock nut.
