dash lights?
Dumb question: Are my speedo/tach on my 1999 R1100R supposed to be lit?

Not a dumb question....the answer is yes. Take the rear cover off the gauge and check the bulbs.....they are application specific, difficult to obtain (outside of the dealer) and of course costly.....

You will need 4 x 286 5 millimeter for the speedo and rev counter and 1 BA7 for the clock. I replaced mine with blue LED units from Ultra Leds.
