I recently heniated a disc in my back and I am going to have to sell my r1150r. I am going to take it back to stock before I do. Last year when I put on a touring bar I screwed up the right hand heated grip when I pulled the wires back through the bar. I did not find out till I had the new bar on and tested the everything out. I have it all back apart now and I did not pull the wires out of the grip. Any chance it can be repaired? I tested it with an OHM meter so I know there is no continuity.
New ones are $80.
Is it worth it to fix it? The left one worked fine before I took it apart. Since it is all apart now would be the time to fix it.
By the way anyone know any tricks to get the spades out of the connectors.

I can't get past your first sentence.
Herniated discs get better with time and PT. If bad enough, have surgery to prevent any permanent nerve damage.
Unless you are looking for a reason to sell your bike, I wouldn't let a herniated dics end your riding career. You'll be back in the saddle in a matter of weeks.
