Metal fans?

Post by Kiwi60 »

Are there any other beemer riding metal fans out there?

If so I'd like to hear from you.

I for one am really into black metal and the like but also older stuff like Judas Priest, Venom, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden (first two albums).

What do you like to listen to when you ride? My favorite right now is "Mayhem - Chainsaw gutsfukk", a song that can prove to a bit too inspiring...

Metal head from the early 70's over here. My kid hates my music and I refuse to turn it off :)

Started with the usual fare as a teen.. Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Ted Nugent, Kiss, Van Halen, AC/DC, then came with Priest, Iron Maiden, (yes, seen all these band live back in the day) Metallica, Megadeath, Slayer, Anthrax, Lizzy Borden...

I now get my fix from Liquid Metal on XM radio....enjoy Lamb of God, OTEP, Early Man, Venom...

I sing to myself as I ride. I can't remember today's song. It ranges from Metallica, and Rage against the Machine, to Loretta Lynn, and Christmas carols.

This week a co-worker loaned me "Guitar Hero 2" for the Xbox 360. Very fun game with plenty of metal songs. My wrist is killing me from using the guitar controller. Pretty good selection of songs too.

I sing too, or whistle when I don't have snus. I never stop surprising myself. The other day I found myself humming the soundtrack from MegaMan (the nintendo game). Must have been some 15 years or so since I last heard it.

I liked Punk Metal. Suicidal Tendencies was a favorite of mine, and my favorite song was "Institutionalized". "I Saw Your Mommy" was a close second.

I'm not big at all on a lot of new music. The alternative stuff isn't bad, but the stuff that passes for heavy/hard music I find quite lame.

A couple of notable exceptions are Slipknot and Trivium. It looks like Roadrunner Records is still the good label. I always liked their stuff.

depends on the mood and the ipod.
grew up on Sabbath, moved onto early motley and then ended up a metallica fan (except for the new one - its crap)

But by taste is vary to varied now - as i said depends on the mood!

Some of Ozzie's new stuff (I Don't Wanna Stop)

I haven't seen them in concert but "You Tube" GWAR regularly.
