I bought a pair for the front this spring. they stop ok but make a kinda whining sound.

I am not sure if this is normal for the pads or not. they seem to be wearing fine, and roters (with 22k heavy city miles on them) look ok.

I have them on my rear caliper right now. They seem to be wearing okay, and I'm watching them closely to see how long they last.

I have about 5000 miles on a set, both front and rear, on my 04' ABS with no problems. I did notice a whirring sound from the fronts under semi-hard braking, but it seems to have stopped, and I think this was just "bedding in" noise. My rotors look fine and braking power is as good as the stock pads, and you can't beat the price!! Try a set.

Timely, just about to stick a set in the front of mine that came free with the Z6 tyres I bought. All the new pads I've put in made the whirring noise, I quite like it! :D
