Grumble/ Anyone else notice this website doesn't like to remember who you are? Even if I log-in manually (after telling it to remember me) - and I go to post a message - I end up having to login again.. /Grumble
OK - the answer to your question. Rejex. It's a polish originally made for aircraft use - on their windshields. It works great on bike shields, face-shields, headlights and even your bikes paint.

Tricks to using it..
- Multiple coats are a good thing - it builds up on the surface in layers
- Space your multiple coats out by 24 hours or so - if you don't the new stuff will tend to dissolve the originally hardened layers and you get no gain in protection
- It does leave the windshield VERY slick - which means the raindrops just sort of flow up the shield pushed by the air. There is no "sheeting" action
- Don't worry about getting it on black plastic bits - it doesn't leave white stains behind. I actually use it on my side-cases quite regularly - to help remove the heel marks I get on the right side one.
Interestingly enough - when I bought the Cee-Bailey screen for the Roadster, it came with a small bottle of cleaner/polish for the screen - with Cee-Bailey's name on it. It smells and seems to work exactly like Rejex - If I had to guess - it's re-labeled Rejex.
Good stuff..
Bugs will come off lots easier, as will bird poop. I've been using it for about 5 years now - and one bottle of it still has about 1/2 left, I've used it on several cars, and extensively on my bike.
