Cee-Bailey 20" for 18" swap anyone?

Post by deilenberger »

Anyone have the 18" Cee-Bailey and need 2 more inches (sounds like a happytime ad..)?

One of our members kindly sold me the 20" tall one (I currently have the 16" tall one) - and it's about 2" too tall for me (I'm short (and plump)). I sorta suspected this might be the case - but the 20" one was a terrific deal so it was worth the risk.

I pay shipping for both.. (and I know it should go in the sale/trade - but figure nobody with an R1200R is reading that section yet since there isn't a big resale market on stuff for them.)

I do have to reduce the number of shields I have.. have the BMW Sport, BMW Touring, Cee-Bailey 16", and now the 20". If another one shows up without one leaving SWMBO is gonna be twigged into the excessive number I have.

Thanks - please email me directly or PM me ([email protected])

Don,
I have an 18" coming from CeeBaileys. Let me give it a go and compare it to the GIVI. If I find the 18" doesn't work for me (I'm tall and plump) I may well be open for a swap. I expect the shield in the next couple of weeks as CB is running behind.

Sorry a bit off topic as I don't have a 18", but I may be able to help you reduce the sheer number of windshields.

Are you interested in selling the BMW Sport windshield?

Oliver,

I'll have to think on that. I really liked the sport one when I had it on except at 70MPH.. at lower speeds it's a delightful shield, allows lots of clear air to get to my helmet, which makes it very quiet (no turbulence).

My WAG - is - I'll probably sell it if you want it - but give me a day to think about it.

Thanks!
