Backrests - any options?

I have a R1150R with no options. No luggage rack, no passenger handles, no luggage rack plate. I am looking for what options are available for a passenger backrest.

Please let me know if you know of any options.

A bit hard if you have no hardware, but I have a Givi top box that has
a bolt on passenger back rest. Maybe you need to get a rack etc, and get the Givi system. I am not aware of any stand alone backrest for the R.
Someone else may know of something??

This is the only one I know of but you need the luggage rack to fix it to.

Check Corbin saddle maker. IIRC they used to make a modified pilon saddle with a slot in the back to accept a back rest. When not needed the rest was easy to remove.

I hear that the OCC make nice sissy-bars...

..that might work..

Just kidding...I think a top box might be the best option..Some come with their own mounting brackets and often have a pad for the pillion to lean against.

I built My own, You can see it on My blog. I had the local machine shop make mounts for the factory mounting locations, then I made several attachments for various things. I can carry My deer hunting rifle and all my camping gear. I also have a bracket to hold My fishing rod locker. This bike is so versatile I don't think I'll every get rid of it.
