Kudos to awagnon, of this board

Post by Hopz »

Just to reinforce how great this community is, I want to pass on public thanks to awagnon, of this and other BMW boards.

We met on this board and his generous gift of his time and expertise made my change of throttle cable and fuel filter job easier and entertaining.

But, his knowledge and use of his Twinmax to help me do a throttle body synchronization was above and beyond the call of duty.

With his help, the job went fast and the result was that my R1100R feels and runs better than ever. I even think I miss my surge a little bit....

Thanks to Al and to all you others who lend a hand when it is needed.

Hey, it was fun. After the ride home over East Canyon, which is always great, I took some time riding over Trapper's Loop. These pictures were taken about 7 miles as the crow flies east of my house. Snow Basin ski area is seen in the background of the last picture. Was a nice day.
