Headers

Post by Hopz »

Anyone ever recondition the headers? Mine are a little nasty and pitted fro road dirt/sand.

What about high-temp paint- silver or black- or best to just leave it alone?

Several owners have had the headers coated by companies such as Jet-Hot, with very good results.

Has anyone tried the tape? I have seen it only once, and it looked pretty bad after many miles.
