Just got back home from a really great trip!

Couldn't get there till yesterday (sat) afternoon but had a really good time meeting all you guys that were there. Weather was great and the fellowship was even better.

CycleRob---my wife thinks you resemble Sean Connery!

Wayne,
It was nice meeting you, and thanks for the navigation home around Staunton. We'll have to get your email address and include you on some local day rides - you're definitely close enough!

scottybooj,

My wife Ann's response was that I'm
"like Sean Connery, but without the slapping"

Background history: Sean Connery mentioned in an interview he occasionally had to slap his wife to keep her in line. Ever since then Ann's new "it" guy has been Harrison Ford.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and in TowerWorker's wife Rosa's case, she must have only seen This Pic of me in row 1 where her studdly hubby is in row 2 the 4th from the left.

What a bunch of old fogeys!

Sorry, I couldn't help myself. I really, SERIOUSLY was bummed out Friday afternoon when I found out I had to stay overnight through Saturday in NJ. By the time I drove home, it was Saturday afternoon and I was exhausted. I called Brian and left a message to inquire what Sunday morning's itinerary was going to be so I could hook up with people for breakfast. Alas, given the cell coverage around Marlinton Brian didn't get my voicemail until he got home Sunday afternoon.

This is the second year in a row I missed the Bash. I am going next year come hell or high water.

Yong - I agree, it is sad indeed to find out you are old enough to appreciate a comparison to Sean Connery!

You'll get there one day! I, on the other hand, am already there and any Sean comparisons would be received warmly! And with a serious questioning of your sanity! :P

What a sharp lookin' bunch of fellers! (and one lady)

There does seem to be a preponderence of gray hair and "no hair"........

Of which I represent both very well!

Rosa still loves me.........that's all that matters.

There HAS GOT to be some guys on the board born after 1970, right? :P

I was going to say we need more Rockster guys seeing as they 'may' be representing the 'young-er' crowd...RBaker can't do it all by himself, c'mon guys!
