Nice...but short ride

Post by mad1150 »

Couldn't find a sitter today :x

So, I took off by myself for a short ride this morning.

First stop: This house has always caught my eye, it sat in ruin for a long time. Someone finally bought it and they are in the process of restoring it.

OK, so I got this bungee'd down, what do u think I'll get for gas mileage?

Couldn't resist getting closer to give a better idea how big these things are.

Had to stop by this poor old corn crib, sadly you see a lot of this here as all the smaller family farms are being eaten up by the large farmers.

Looking back to the "Wind Farm" where I came from:

Looking ahead: Uh..."The Road Goes On Forever"...and straight too!

This is actually a different Wind Farm, the first one was under construction. This one's along Interstate 39 and in production. I stopped and could hear the swooshing sound of those huge blades.

Plenty of these out now too. Think I could take him in a tug of war?

Had to swing by this other restored farm house I remembered about on the way home.

I'm going to go for a ride sometime and just take pictures of old farm houses and barns along the way.

Great photos Mark... thanks for posting. They're all good but I especially like the first one - impressive house, impressive bike!
