KAWASAKI TRIPLES WORLDWIDE

Post by Ric »

Kawasaki Triples Worldwide is having their 8th annual Deal's Gap meet May 15 ~ 20, 2007. HQ is at The Deal's Gap Motorcycle Resort.

Everyone is invited no matter what you ride.
We have over 100 2-stroke road machines show up from around the world.
If you have a 2-stroke, this is where you need to be.
If you don't have a 2-stroke, bring money, you'll want one.
This many 2-strokes lit up in one spot is a hoot to be wittnesed !

If you come up on your R1200R, GS, GSA, S and you seem at least some what sane, let me throw a leg over your BMW and I'll let you take my '74 H2 or completly blown out '77 RD400 Bumble Bee both pictured below for a spin.

Watch out for law enforcement if you venture down to north Georgia. They're cracking down in TN as well. This has been in the Atlanta news recently to supposedly make it safer in the north Georgia mountains.

So...on the 15-20th of May you should expect high pollution in that area...with blue smoke everywhere.. :D ...I'd love to see that.

Nice looking Mach 4 (750)...a good friend had an orange Mach 3 (500) when I was a kid and he was always on the back wheel.

I loved the sound of those triples screaming their guts out,

Ric,

Your 750 looks great. Did you doing brake / chassis / suspension mods & updates? I doubt you needed in power mods.

I restored the H2 to completely stock spec's except the brakes. I changed the front caliper out for a dual piston EX500 caliper and used the EX500 master cylinder as well.

The RD400 Bumble Bee is a different story: it has head work, Stage II+ porting, Banshee pistons, Bosen reeds with modified RZ intake, cross-over tube, 34mm carbs, F1 expansion chambers, Molholland shocks, progessive front end, rear-sets, and a sweet little 1/4 turn throtte !!! I also trimmed a few pounds off her getting her down to around 320 pounds dry. So the RD is a great Dragon slayer.

Hey Ric

That's the same weekend as the Bash in Marlinton WVA.

Some of us, like me for example, will be near the Gap on the way to Marlinton. If you're gonna be there mid week, some of us could catch up with you & say hey, and check out your bikes.

Sorry, I don't have a R1200R for you to try out.

Let us know if that's of any interest to you.

I'm going to be there May 15 ~ 20. Most of the guys don't start showing up until Thursday though (May 17).

But hey ! If you're in the area come on by..a few of us will be there. I think roughly 20 of us will be there by Wednesday (May 16).
