Current incentives?

Post by Turk74 »

Hi everyone,

What have people been seeing for incentives on new BMW motorcycles lately? I have a friend ready to pull the trigger on a new RT but there are no current incentives which is holding him back. Has BMW had any financing or other incentives going on?

I haven't been to a dealership lately, but the RT and GS are two very popular bikes. He may be waiting a while for an incentive on the RT from the dealers or BMW. Just my opinion.

He'd be better off finding a used '06 that someone traded back in for that neat K1200GT. Someone did that while we were sitting at the open house eating brats a couple months back. An almost new RT, but he just had to have that KGT.

No current incentives for '07 models (with the new (did I say new?) ABS Continental Teves Braking System)

IF there are remaining '06 (with the older 'EVOABSintegrallinked' (full(RT)or partial(all others)) braking system, then they are likely discounted from BMW to dealer as a floor plan support. Dealer's choice to pass on savings to customer.

My closest dealer is advertising discounts for K1200R and R1200GS and HP2 only.
