There are more if you want them, here:

Are you thinking of getting one?

We've got another Ed80 owner in the BMWBMW club. He posts as cdbugler on the BMWBMW forums.

I know of two others in the B'more area, but haven't seen them on the road (one is owned by the GM of Bob's BMW and the other is near Gettysburg, PA).

My Ed 80

Greig Andrews # 0068 - just north of Sydney Australia.
Have some minor mods...Remus y and Genesis pipe, Custom rack, hugger, just getting valve covers painted satin black. Will post pics when complete.
There is no better all round bike.
Of course I would prefer four wheels, a bike for the daily grind and a sportsbike for weekends !

Thanks for the replies & images!

I'm trying to convince a friend to buy one. He's been on a R1100RT for a long time and wants something nekkid but still BMW. Price is an issue, so the new R1200R is out. Ed 80s are cool!

I,ve been reading the various messages on the site for a while but just never registered. When I saw someone was logging ed 80 editions I thought I'd post a reply.
The number of my ed80 1844 and I am in Hull England.
Hope that may be of interest to the member trying to log them.
