Took the plunge!!!

Came home with a2004 r1150r today. With ABS and in silver, 'cause while black might be faster, silver's, well... shinier. And invisible to police cars. Happy as a clam, and seems my wife will soon forgive me

Will post pictures as soon as I can pry my warm live fingers from the grips.

Many thanks to all on the board that have helped inform my decision over the past several months.

Congratulations on your new toy, cbesey. I have a 2-week old 03 RED in my garage as well. You may have been mistaken with your bike's color though. It's actually green.

Same year as mine,........but i have red 'cause it's HOTTER!

......no ABS for me,......'cause it came that way for me as 2nd owner.

Actually i'd probably have ordered it that way anyway. Non ABS is all i've ever had,......and the BMW brakes are by far the best stoppers on any of my previous rides. Less costly upkeep to boot.

Congrats to all of you guys on your new rides, black, silver, red.......however, be advised the the fastest of all the colors is ATLANTA BLUE.....ahem.....my color.........
