The R1150GS handguards will fit. I had to shape the left one a bit with a dremel to allow room for the cables, but once that was done it just took some patience to get them bolted on properly.
I love the guards. Rode through a heavy hailstorm this summer with no pelting on my hands. They look good, too.

the left one??? it's the right one that needs modding for the brake hose.
As citrusbee said: The R1150GS handguards fit (not perfectly, but they do fit), and only cost 30 quid or so.
oh yeah - your dealer will probably say that the 1150GS handguards won't fit either - but they will.

No, I'm not kidding- it was the left one I had to modify to allow room for the fast idle/choke cable. I had read earlier posts on this subject and was expecting the right side to be trouble. Maybe the difference is due to my having the Throttlemeister bar ends. Dunno....

Hi I also fitted GS handguards. Both sides need a bit of fettling to fit . Just a bit of plastic removal to make it all fit because the bars are a different shape . All will revealed when you go to fit.. Have FUN, they are like Marmite you likes em or you hates em.. I loves em.. RR
PS take care of the handelbar finnish VERY soft and scratches a lot..
See Ya...RR
