ztechnik Storage Pod

Has anyone used the new ztechnik Storage Pod yet? Whats your opinion?
Also, does anyone know if its water proof?

I got one a few weeks back and it looks very cool on the R, IMHO. And the front of it (which is what hits your back if you scoot against it) is angled and fells just right against your back, i.e., doesn't "cut" into your back like some bags might. It is semi rigid so it keeps its shape, kind of a "soft" looking material for the cover.

The inside has a removeable panel that fits the bottom and covers the internal straps and adjustment sliders. The panel has three attached, zipped pouches or you can just leave them empty and stuff things on top, then zip the pouch closed.

I will try to get some pics and post them, tho' it may be a while as I'm re-doing my own roof this week/weekend and may not get to photography 'til after the 4th of July.

But I am happy with the purchase. It is "as advertised."

Doken (in Japan) used to do something like that - but it was something like £400 and they wouldn't export.
