After living in Boston and the greater new Haven area of CT I just assumed that was the customary practice.
took me quite awhile to readjust back here in VT. Yeah you get to know which back roads to watch out for the "rolling stop sign" maneuver but at the intersection of two dirt roads around here, you are way more likely to a hit deer or the culvert than abother motorist!!!
Ahhhh, the joys of living 10 miles from the nearest stop light (in any direction!!)!!!!!!!!!!!!!
