exhaust header coatings
I was checking into having the headers coated with a ceramic product, hoping to cover the nasty stains, and the discolorization of the pipes. I wouldn't mind so much if the pipes just turned blue, but mine have turned brown as well as blue, and the stains....... well they really suck. Has anyone on the board tried one of these products yet?

I noticed on the HP coatings site, there is a pic of an R bike with a black finish.

Exhaust headers
I don't have any experience with the coatings you ask of but I have always thought the various colors our pipes turn adds "distinctive character"!

jet-hot: looks good when nu, turns to a dull gray
no experience with HPC. they claim no fading over time. hmmm....
I'd just take your pipes off and give 'em a proper polishing
I like the blue 'n' gold discoloration
I hate the kaka brown that some of the new GS pipes turn to. one side was doing that on mine. took some colonel brassy and a little elbow grease and it's looking nice and shiny again...

Exhaust Header Coatings
I had Jet-Hot coated exhaust pipes on my F650 for 6 years, it seemed to last very well. The coating did get a little duller over time, but not so much as to look bad. I really noticed the difference when I put the stock pipes back on to trade the bike in on the R. The stock pipes had about 5,000 miles and looked really bad, the Jet-Hot pipes had 25,000+ miles and they still looked good to me. I thought enough of the coating to send my R headers out to be done over the winter. I don't have any real miles on them yet to say if they will last as well as they did on the F (air cooled vs water cooled).

Well, I went and sent for more information on the Jet Hot products. I still have not decieded to send my headers into them yet, however I am concidering it. I just wanted to let the board members know, that they send out a very nice package. It includes product reviews from Hot Rod, Car Craft, and National Dragster. They even include a VHS tape in this package. I was impressed.

I had my header pipes done by jet hot and all I can say is it 's the best 200.00 bucks I've ever spent. the bike looks brand new again. I hated the color of the pipes before. I don't care what anybody says about the blue pipes have character. All I ever heard was that it's a nice bike but the pipes look like s--t. Lets face it, the pipes on a bike are a BIG part of the asthetics and you will be pleasently surprised if you do this. I have 5k miles on them and they still look great. Yes there not as shiny as new but what a drastic improvement. Also I was told to not let it sit and idle to long without air cooling the pipes for obvious reasons. Hope this helps. P.S. if somebody woud tell me how to post a picture I would show you.

Exhaust Header Coating
Based on the information sent by Jet Hot, the improvement comes from 2 factors the interior surface being smoother (better flow) and the coating preventing the pipes from asorbing as much heat. The pipes do get cooler much quicker with the coating. They claim the pipes can be cool in as little as 10 min after shutdown. I did notice the other day when I went to put the cover on the pipes were cooler than the heads.

Business help in China
I am new at this and I'd ask someone to help me with advice. I applied as recruiter manager at JobQueen, they promise to pay $87,000.00/year. I would like to know if they are for real and if they are how can I get quality sales reps in China. I didn't list the domain because promoting something is forbiden in most forums. So if you want to help me out please contact me direct at my email:
